Santiniketan Medical College & Hospital, Bolpur, West Bengal

Following ‘Unity in diversity’ and expecting universalization in different religious culture & heritages We are happy to share that, earlier we had already planned & announced that we will make tribal ‘Saharai Festival’ or ‘Badna Parava’ universal. So, we are going to celebrate that festival from 10th to 15th January 2023 at the initiative of Santiniketan Medical College and Hospital being encouraged by tribal community people around us. Also, on this occasion We are going to organize “Santiniketan Mela”.

Involvement of rural & marginalized people along with tribal religious exposures, culture & heritages are the main themes of this fair. We will organize this fair in the vicinity of Medical College and Hospital. Free Stalls will be provided on the day of occasion of the fair to the interested Handicrafts artisans and Small Traders and others.

In this event, apart from the tribal cultural program, there will be discussions, meetings and seminars on various related topics in the field of health care sector.

We are very much desirous to have your worthy footstep and active co-operation & moral support to make this innovative initiative a grand success.

“পৌষ তোদের ডাক দিয়েছে, আয়রে চলে আয় আয় আয়”

আমরা আয়োজন করতে চলেছি “শান্তিনিকেতন মেলা”। গ্রামীণ মানুষ, প্রান্তিক মানুষ এবং আদিবাসীরাই এই মেলার মূল প্রাণ। মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালের পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চলে আমরা এই মেলার আয়োজন করব।

আগ্রহী হস্তশিল্পী, ক্ষুদ্র ব্যবসায়ীদের সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে মেলা উপলক্ষ্যে স্টল প্রদান করা হবে। আগামী ১০ই-১৫ই জানুয়ারী ২০২৩ পর্যন্ত মহাসমারোহে শান্তিনিকেতন মেলার আয়োজন করতে চলেছি।

The Santiniketan Medical College, students will revel raucous celebrations of the event. The live performances of Bengali folk music, particularly Baul music, should not be missed. The cultural presentations also include tribal dances. Observe people doing tribal arts while dressed traditionally. will Attend the display of handmade items from Bengal and other regions of India. Beautiful Batik print, Taant saree, and other handloom items may be found in shops run by crafts community
